Membership & Participation Rules
To ensure our forum remains a positive and constructive space for all members of the Bameka diaspora, we've set out these simple guidelines.
Membership Rules
Connection to the Bameka Community: This forum is for individuals of Bameka origin or those with a direct family tie (spouse, parent, etc.) to the Bameka community. You might be asked to clarify this connection during registration.
Authentic Information: Please use your real identity or a respectful username. Accounts with false or misleading information may be deactivated.
One Account Per Person: Each member should only have one account to ensure fairness and transparency in interactions.
Participation Rules
Respect and Courtesy:
Be Respectful: Treat all members with respect, even if you disagree with their opinions. Personal attacks, bullying, harassment, insults, or abusive language are strictly forbidden.
No Hate Speech: We have zero tolerance for any form of discrimination (racism, sexism, homophobia, etc.) or content that incites hatred.
Appropriate Language and Content:
Main Languages: English and French are the primary languages of the forum. The use of local Bameka languages is encouraged in relevant discussions.
Relevant Content: Stick to topics related to Bameka culture, development, news, or community interests.
No Explicit Content: Do not post any pornographic, sexually explicit, violent, or illegal content.
Promotion and Advertising:
No Spam: Repetitive, unsolicited, or off-topic messages (spam) are prohibited.
Limited Advertising: Promoting external products, services, or causes is only allowed with prior administrator approval or within designated sections, if available (e.g., approved community announcements).
Confidentiality and Privacy:
Don't Share Personal Information: Do not post personal information (addresses, phone numbers, private emails, etc.) of other members without their explicit consent.
Protect Your Privacy: Be mindful of what information you choose to share about yourself on the forum.
Credit and Intellectual Property:

Role of Moderators and Administrators:

Consequences of Infractions
Failure to follow these rules may result in:
