The esplanade of the Evangelical Church (EEC) of Ngouang served as the venue for the awards ceremony for the best students from the local preschools and elementary schools on Friday, June 13, 2025. The Ngouang Palace Government School, the Nket Ngouang Government School, and the CEPCA School in Djouong received prizes consisting mainly of school supplies (bags, notebooks, books, pens, etc.). The enlightened leader of the Bameka, Natchema Takoukam Jean Raymond, who presided over the ceremony, praised the rise of these Ngouang youth.
Starting with the Douala youth, who was inspired by this generosity, the Ngouang youth from Yaounde, Bafoussam, and the local community joined the demonstration. In addition to
kindergarten and elementary schools, which were the focus of activities in previous years,
middle/high schools are also joining the celebration, notably CATIBA, the only private college in Bameka, whose 30th anniversary celebration is planned for October 2025.
Special prizes were also awarded by President Michel Blaise Tatsing (CEO of Lafisca et Négoce), who paid the tuition and competitive exam fees for the best CM1 (Grade 4) student from the schools mentioned above, and Mr. Fotsing NDE Florian, aka notable MBE DEFFEU Pokam, whooffered a computer to each of the best students in the middle and high schools of Bameka. Both graduates of the Bameka Technical High School, each with a computer.
The 2027 edition is shaping up to be a success at the CEPCA School in Djouong. For this award, which takes place every two years, the organizers have said they will double their efforts to honor parents and bring a smile to the faces of the younger generation.
Posterity requires nothing more.
